Meet Bahar! 💜
Bahar is one of our amazing Navigate Counselling therapists, offering online counselling across Canada through our affordable, short-term counselling program. Navigate is designed for those times when you need support now—whether that's one conversation or a few sessions to help you find your direction. Bahar offers a warm, compassionate space where you can gain clarity, learn practical strategies, and take your next step with confidence.
Sometimes you don't need years of therapy. You need one really good session with someone who gets it. That's where Bahar comes in.
As a Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling (Provisional) with the CPCA, much of her work centers on questions of identity, belonging, and what it means to hold onto yourself through change. She often sits with people who are figuring out who they are on the other side of burnout, grief, or major life transitions. Her practice is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and built on meeting people where they are.
Working together feels like a real conversation, not a clinical interview. She keeps the room grounded, collaborative, and low pressure, making it easy to talk honestly without worrying about judgment. You can expect thoughtful listening, straightforward perspective, and a dry sense of humour that surfaces naturally. Her focus is simply that you leave the session feeling heard, affirmed, and a little less alone in it.
In her downtime, Bahar is hiking outside, in the gym, or decompressing at home listening to records with her dog and cat glued to her side. She is neurodivergent, naturally curious, and always drawn to learning something new.
